In the end, the visitors claimed important three points and thoroughly deserved the victory. Arsenal began the game very strongly and looked dangerous while United looked to play on the counter. Aubameyang's further stretch could have opened the scoring for his side as he was set-up by Bellerin. United had a great chance to score as Rashford played a through ball for Greenwood, whose attempt was saved by Leno. Arsenal was denied as Lindelof's crucial touch thwarted Lacazette to score and were again close to breaking the deadlock as Saka failed to convert the header. One of the game's highlights was the partnership of El-Neny and Thomas Partey as both holding midfielder's looked solid and were commanding.
