Who is going to say goodbye to the Premier League?
For the first time in many years, the relegation battle seems to be the highlight of a premier league campaign. Usually, it’s the other way around and all eyes are at the top prize as fans are eager to find out who wins the Premier League title. Liverpool were on the course of making history as they were close to winning their first Premier League title.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the league has been suspended till June. With 9 games in hand for most of the teams, it will be interesting to see which of the 6 teams fight to keep their place in England's top-flight division once the season resumes (assuming it does).
The teams who are on the verge of being relegated are Brighton and Hove Albion FC, West Ham United, Watford, AFC Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Norwich. Interestingly, Premier Leagues' remaining fixtures are set to be played in neutral venues once the season resumes and this is not in favor of the bottom 6 teams. As there is no home support, the teams who are fighting for survival are refusing to play.
Although 6 teams are battling for a place in England’s Top Flight, here are the 3 teams that we believe are in most danger of getting relegated to the Championship.

Known as the Cherries, they secured promotion to the Premier League in 2015-16. Under the management of the young Eddie Howie, Bournemouth have given more importance to young prospects, an ideology which proved to be key for them. In their first season, the Cherries finished 16th place in the 2015/16 campaign.
They defied all odds the following season and finished 9th in the table after being tipped to suffer the “second-season syndrome”. Post a strong start in the 2018/19 season, inconsistent results dropped them from the top half of the table to the 14th place.
Eddie Howie's men are yet to play against Crystal Palace, Southampton, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspurs, Newcastle, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Currently one position below Watford and sitting at 18th position, they have managed 4 points from the last 5 fixtures. Assuming wins against Southampton, Newcastle and a draw against Crystal Palace, the Cherries will get 7 points out of 27.
Current Points: 27
Likely Points at the end: 34
2. Aston Villa :

The former European Cup winners ( 1982) returned to the Premier League after a gap of 3 years. Under Dean Smith, they dramatically confirmed their promotion to the Premier League. A game in which Villa wonder kid Jack Grealish was attacked by an opposition fan.
Currently sitting at 19th position, Dean Smith's men are yet to play against Chelsea, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, and West Ham. With 1 game in hand, it could be an advantage over their fellow survivors. A poor series of games saw Villa gain only 3 points from their last 5 fixtures. Out of the 10 remaining fixtures, Aston Villa face 6 of the top 12 sides in the league, the results of which are not in their favor. Assuming wins against Crystal Palace and West Ham, and a draw against Newcastle, Aston Villa will get 7 points out of 30.
Current points: 25
Points at the end: 32
3. Norwich :

Since 2017, Daniel Farke has been the coach of the Canaries. The German manager ultimately secured his side's promotion after a gap of 3 years in the Premier League.
Currently sitting at the bottom of the table, they are yet to play against Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton, Southampton, Burnley, West Ham, Brighton, and Watford. The Canaries have gained 4 points from the last 5 fixtures. Wins against West Ham, Brighton and Watford, and a draw against Southampton, Everton, and Burnley, Daniel Farke's men will get 12 points out of 27.
Current points: 21

Once, the Premier League returns, it will be interesting to find out who survives. One thing is for sure, it will be a nail-biting end to this season and this is how we predict the table will look like at the end of the campaign if it were to resume.
